Catherine was named as one of the top ten poets to have published a first collection in the last ten years by Mslexia magazine in 2004, and was also chosen as one of the '20 most exhilarating poets of their generation' for the Next Generation Arts Council/PBS promotion of 2004. Her latest collection, Lip (Smith/Doorstop) was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection.
