Denise McSheehy was born in Brighton, studied in Ireland and currently lives near Totnes. She has been widely published, broadcast on BBC radio and is a prizewinner in many competitions. In 2006 she received a bursary from Arts Council England to develop her work. Her collection Salt was published by the Poetry Can in 2008. Her poetry can be viewed on the poetrypf website.
